TC Consult was commissioned by Newport Unlimited to provide a grant valuation for the part publicly funded £35m City Campus for the University of Wales, Newport. 

The commission required a proactive and innovative approach to verify legal agreements and construction costs.  It required full collaboration with the University team from the Deputy Vice Chancellor to the site team, and included open book meetings at the University’s offices, at consultants’ offices, and on site. 

The building encompasses state of the art environmentally friendly construction techniques and systems and will be rated BREEAM Excellent.

The completed project will be a significant landmark building and a major piece of the Newport City master plan.
